Corydoras polystictus

Origin: Brazil, South America
Temperament: Peaceful. Should be kept in a school with others of the same species or even other Corydoras.
Care: Feed with any type of sinking flake or pellets. Use very fine gravel or coarse sand as sharp substrate will damage the barbels. Some underwater current is recommended.
Temperature Range: 22-28C
pH: 6.2-7.5
Potential Size: 4cm
Breeding: Not as easy as other Corydoras. Nitrates must be kept as low as possible. Small frequent water changes with slightly cooler water with a pH of 6.5 in a wide, shallow tank often instigates breeding activity.
Sex: Difficult to determine
